Alex Strode

Bio

Coach Alex Strode is a Bowling Green native graduating from Greenwood High School in 2005 and Western Kentucky University in 2010. Coach Strode is entering his 17th season of coaching high school football and his 7th season with the Purples. Prior to coming to Bowling Green High in 2018, he served as an assistant coach at Greenwood High School from 2008-2017. Coach Strode has coached on the defensive side of the ball since coming to the Purples and also teaches Social Studies at Bowling Green High School. Alex and his wife Amanda have been married since 2012 and they have three children: Adam (9), Jack (7), and Jay (4).
