Coach Seabolt is a 1993 graduate of Edmonson County High School. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Western Kentucky University in 1997 and then completed his teaching certification in 1999 at Campbellsville University. Upon completing his teaching certification, coach Seabolt then completed a Master's of Arts in School Counseling at WKU, a Rank I in School Counseling at WKU & then a Master's of Arts in Special Education at the University of the Cumberlands. He is married to Tabby and they have three children, Cady, Dylan & Corbin and two granddaughters, Navy & Nola.
Coach Seabolt is entering his 26th season coaching & will be his 10th season at BGHS. He began his career at his alma mater, Edmonson County High School in 1999. He coached at ECHS for three seasons serving as the offensive & defensive line coach, JV head coach & varsity special teams coordinator. For the next two seasons, coach Seabolt served as the head football coach at Grayson County Middle School. In 2005, he transitioned to Grayson County High School to become the offensive line coach. In 2006, he became offensive coordinator & stayed in that position through the 2009 football season. In 2010, he moved to Bowling Green High School as a defensive assistant coach & in the 2011-12 state championship seasons served at the offensive line coach. Coach Seabolt accepted the head coaching position at Greenwood High School in 2013. He stayed at GHS through the 2017 season compiling a record of 29-29. The 29 wins ranks him as the second all-time winningest coach in Greenwood history. His teams advanced to the second round of the playoffs in three of his five seasons. His three playoff wins also ranks second in all time wins at GHS. In 2018, he transitioned back to Bowling Green High School as the offensive line coach & assumed offensive coordinator duties in the 2019 season. Currently, coach Seabolt is the Associate Head Coach for the Purples.
