Coach Steve Dotson enters his 26th season as an assistant coach for the Purples. Coach Dotson serves as the Director of Football Operations, assisting in handling administrative needs and all equipment needs of the football team.
A 1997 graduate of Bowling Green High School, Dotson is employed at Potter Gray Elementary School as a Special Education Teacher. Dotson is married to Bobbi, an 8th grade math teacher at BGJHS and Head Cheer Coach at BGHS and BGJHS. Steve and Bobbi have two daughters, Turner Katherine (12) and Lola (9).
