Bio

Coach Porter enters his 7th season coaching, his 4th year at Bowling Green High School coaching the Tight Ends and the junior varsity offense. Before returning home to Bowling Green, he coached Tight Ends and Wide Receivers at St. Xavier High School in Louisville, KY for 3 seasons under former Purples Head Coach Kevin Wallace. Will also coached lacrosse for BGHS during the 2020 season and is currently the boys lacrosse PA announcer. Will is 31 and is a 2011 graduate of Bowling Green High School where he was a multi-sport athlete competing in football, swimming, and lacrosse. Upon graduation Will accepted a football scholarship to Kentucky Wesleyan College where he competed for two seasons before graduating with a business degree from Western Kentucky University in 2015. Will is a local businessman in Bowling Green and supports many local charities and foundations. He is the proud father of a future Purple, Tad, who is two years old.
